Welcome to Home-Start Berkshire East
Home-Start Berkshire East was formed following the merger of Family Friends Windsor and Maidenhead with Home-Start Slough in November 2023. This important milestone brought a wave of positive change to the communities of Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot and Slough, enabling us to deliver the trusted Home-Start model consistently across the whole of Berkshire East.
We were delighted to welcome the dedicated team and volunteers from Family Friends. Their ethos and way of working aligned seamlessly with our own, creating a strong and unified organisation with a shared commitment to supporting families.
Since the merger, we have forged strong professional relationships with teams across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, working closely with partners in health, early years and social care to ensure families receive timely, joined-up support.
Home-Start Berkshire East continues to raise the bar in family support services across both Slough and the Royal Borough, empowering us to provide an even higher level of assistance to families when they need it most.
